Taylor Machine Works has designed, built, and marketed empty-container handlers since 1976. "Big Red" empty handlers reflect the experience and knowledge gained during those years. Taylor empty handlers are "All American," designed and built in the USA. Empty Container Handler Brochure

TECDS-150H Attachment

The attachment expands to top pick 20-ft. throught 53-ft. empty ISO standard containers and empty reefer containers. Containers more than 40-ft. must have standard 40-ft. ISO pickup points. The attachment has four corner twistlocks, hydraulic slewing, electrical signal lights in cab, and two worklights.

TECTS-198/9 Attachment

The ELME attachment is designed to handle two 20-ft. or 40-ft. empty ISO standard containers simultaneously, on stacked on top of the other. It has four horizontal twistlocks that insert into the side apertures of the lower container's top corner castings and the upper container's bottom corner castings. The design of the twistlocks allows for block stacking.

Drive Train

Each model uses a Tier Compliant Cummins® electronic turbocharged, charged air aftercooled (air to air) diesel engine. Standard engine features include electronic diagnostic and maintenance monitor, fuel/water separator, engine/transmission protection systems, improved fuel economy, and reduced emissions.

The transmission for all models is a three-speed, fully reversing, non-modulated, powershift transmission with inching and hydraulic remote shift control.
