Taylor Machine Works' THDC Series of loaded container handlers is one of the most sucessful lines produced by Taylor Machine Works. You will find the THDC Series in ports and intermodal yards around the world. With the lowest total operating cost in the industry, it's no wonder so many businesses choose Taylor products.


The THDC-974 has a rated capacity of 90,000-lbs. in the first and second tiers and 85,000-lbs. in the third and fourth tiers at 97-inch center of load. At 106-inch center of load, the capacity for the THDC-974 is 82,000-lbs. in the first and second tiers and 80,000-lbs. in the third and fourth tiers.


The THDC-975 has a rated capacity of 90,000-lbs. in the first and second tiers and 80,000-lbs. in the third, fourth, and fifth tiers at 97-inch center of load. At 106-inch center of load, the capacity for the THDC-975 is 82,000-lbs. in the first and second tiers and 75,000-lbs. in the third, fourth, and fifth tiers.


The THDCP models comes equiped with an attachment capable of handling ISO, WTP, and Pin containers. The THDCP-974 has a ISO and WTP container rated capacity of 86,000-lbs. / 2-high and 81,000-lbs. / 4-high , at 97-in. center of load. At 106-in. center of load, the capacities are 78,000-lbs. / 2-high and 76,000-lbs. / 4-high. The pin container rated capacity for the THDCP-974 is 67,200-lbs. / 2-high, both at 96-in. and 106-in. center of load.


The THDCP-975 has a ISO and WTP container rated capacity of 86,000-lbs. / 2-high and 76,000-lbs. / 5-high , at 97-in. center of load. At 106-in. center of load, the capacities are 78,000-lbs. / 2-high and 71,000-lbs. / 5-high. The pin container rated capacity for the THDCP-975 is 67,200-lbs. / 2-high, both at 96-in. and 106-in. center of load.

Drive Train

Each model in the THDC Series line of loaded container handlers uses a Tier Compliant Cummins® electronic turbocharged, charged air diesel engine. Standard engine features include electronic diagnostic and maintenance monitor, fuel/water separator, engine/transmission protection systems, improved fuel economy, and reduced emissions.

The transmission for all models is a three-speed, fully reversing, modulated, powershift transmission equiped with declutch and electric shift control.
